Engaged is Where We Begin.

Our 1:1 Coaching is a collaborative process focused on you.

Insight's Stakeholder-Centered Coaching Process©

Our Stakeholder-Centered Coaching Process© is a six-month program grounded in the work of Marshall Goldsmith and the Imago process. Stakeholders (leaders, peers, and trusted advisors selected by the “Leader”) are used for weekly check-ins and provide honest feedback about how the Leader is doing against their stated goals. Stakeholders also provide “feedforward” for future behaviors and serve as non-judgmental, onsite observers for the Insight coach.

Measuring Success

At the forefront of all Insight Strategies Coaching is agreement on the desired outcomes. What does one want to build? Improve? Explore? Achieve? As essential is determining how we will measure the success of the coaching relationship.

Insight’s experience has shown that for coaching to be effective and “stick,” the following needs to be established:

  • An understanding that coaching is a process, not a program. Done right, it takes several sessions and an extended period of time to yield results
  • Buy-in and commitment from the top is essential, both in spirit and resources
  • Metrics by which to measure success
  • There will be intentional and frequent messaging and communication to the “Leader,” the Leader’s management team, and HR
  • HR processes that support coaching efforts, i.e., manager performance reviews that reflect the competency of “people development”
  • Commitment by managers to coach, develop, and support employees

Including Executive Levels

As leaders progress through higher levels of management, it becomes increasingly important to have access to an objective, third-party, trusted coach. In Insight’s experience, coaching is especially critical for:

  • Effective executive leadership
  • Advancement to a new position
  • Getting desired results from the team
  • Highly-visible positions
  • Team members who perform well but lack leadership qualities
  • Team Members with leadership qualities who aren’t hitting performance goals
  • Understanding self-awareness and its impact on others

"As a coach, Kevin offers more than just wisdom. He offers partnership. A partnership that you must both invest in, but one that produces strong and tangible results. From driving self-reflection to having tough conversations around how I can be better, Kevin's guidance has made me a stronger leader."
