Kevin’s specialties are firmly rooted in in executive coaching, organizational and leadership development, building high-performing teams, and fostering managerial skills at all levels of an organization.
A serial entrepreneur, Kevin has owned and led three companies before becoming our President and Managing Partner. In fact, he has provided his expertise to a diverse list of organizations including Oracle, LA Metro, Amazon, FTP, and Parker Aerospace, CitiFinancial to name just a few.
Catie Butler
Manager of Operations & Managing Partner
Catie has over 20 years of behind-the-scenes experience ensuring small businesses achieve their organizational and financial goals. With a background in event planning, Catie joined our team in 2015 and has since become the “Oz” of Insight, handling all the behind-the-scenes details to ensure you get excellent service 100% of the time.
Larnzell Harper
Consultant
Larnzell is a self-proclaimed “transit geek/nerd, who began his career in transportation as a bus operator. He has spent 20 years in the public sector, with much of his career developing and managing training programs in public transportation. Larnzell has an M.A. in Educating Adults and a B.A. in Mass Communications. We have worked alongside him in the past and are convinced he deserves a broader stage in this industry. His background and experience in transit operations, facilitation, and adult education perfectly fit our values, mission, and commitment to our clients.
Michael Heidkamp
Consultant and Executive Coach
Michael recently retired as the Chief Transportation Officer for Pittsburgh Regional Transit, where he began his career in 1993 as a bus operator and holds many positions that include CDL examiner/instructor, Manager of
Way and Non-Revenue vehicle maintenance, Director of Service and Delivery, and Deputy COO. He obtained his certification as an executive coach through Marshall Goldsmith in 2023 and is ready to pass on his experienced gained over the past 30+ years to the next generation of leaders.
Shari Burgess
Consultant and Executive Coach
With over two decades of experience in human resources and leadership development, Shari brings a wealth of knowledge to municipalities, including public transit. She has led various leadership and career development programs, empowering individuals to thrive in their roles. Shari is dedicated to fostering a growth mindset culture focused on continuous learning. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership and certifications in character strengths assessment, growth mindset, emotional intelligence, and coaching. Shari’s dedication to inspiring and guiding others aligns perfectly with our mission and goals.
Curtis Boyd
Consultant and Executive Coach
Curtis Boyd is a retired law enforcement professional with 30 years of experience with the PRT (Pittsburgh Regional Transit) Police Department. He led the department’s community policing program and served as a Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator, designing programs to support law enforcement and individuals experiencing mental health crises. Recognized as Mental Health Advocate of the Year, Curtis is also a seasoned speaker on community policing, mental health awareness, and crisis intervention. He has created Crisis Awareness and De-escalation Training for public employees, widely adopted across the region.
Joseph Hamilton
Consultant
Joseph Hamilton is a coach, trainer, and facilitator at Insight Strategies, as well as an entrepreneur and head of a non-profit organization. Joseph is a natural at leading people, public speaking, and motivating others to aspire to their best selves. With an MS in Counseling as well as being a trained psychotherapist, he parlays these talents into digging beneath the surface to understand client needs and coaching others that is transformational in nature.

Jim Davis

Jim Davis is an accomplished athlete, writer, and coach. Beginning his journey as a lifelong learner and coach through sports, Jim founded the Good Athlete Project, a nonprofit organization that aims to maximize the potential of athletics as education and nature future leaders. Since obtaining his Master’s Degree in Human Development and Psychology, Jim has brought his deep knowledge of psychology, motivation, and wellness to our clients. Since obtaining his Marshall Goldsmith Coaching certification he has worked with numerous clients helping to improve both in the workplace and at home.

Claire Fisher Catlin
Administration
Claire has over 10 years in customer service, data administration, and logistics. Starting as an intern at Insight Strategies, Claire has grown into a valuable member of Insight’s team, while working on her education. A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BA in Marketing and Political Science, Claire has used her expertise to revamp Insight’s marketing processes, while implementing tracking and control measures to ensure success. Claire has worked on dozens of Insight projects, both internal and client-facing, including virtual workshop production, assessments, and data analysis. Claire has also served as a sales associate and audit response clerk, providing the professional client-facing experience and eye for detail Insight is known for. Currently a pre-law student at the University of San Diego, Claire continues to support Insight Strategies.
